Sabrina KetterMiddle school curriculum writer
I teach 5/6 grade Science and Health at Charleston Middle School. I have been at this district for 7 years. Over the years, I have noticed a need for an SEL type curriculum throughout the district. After competing many hours of Bill Vining's SEL Training, I have a deeper understanding of the extraordinary need of implementing social and emotional standards into the curriculum. Such a need has led me to a desire to write a middle level social/emotional curriculum that would fit the needs of this particular age group. Through my experience teaching SEL over the past year and a half, I have noticed a positive change in my students' overall behavior. I am very excited to see where HeartBridge takes us in years to come.
